The Top 5 Non Shedding Family Dogs

Non shedding dogs that are good with kids are a common concern - after all, a dog is just another member of your family and they should be able to get along with everyone. There are two main things that you want to consider - the temperament of a dog and how accepting they are of kids and how suitable a dog is to be played with kids and avoid injury. This article describes the top 5 non shedding family dogs.
1.     Poodle

One of the greatest all round dog breeds is the Poodle. It even comes in three sizes so you can choose which one you like best. They are known to be good with kids but if you get one in the standard size they might make a more suitable option for children to play with. They are typically very playful, obedient and devoted dogs. They are highly intelligent and you can practically teach them to do almost anything. The only downside is the grooming - expect to spend close to 10 hours a week brushing their coat.
2.      Bichon Frise

A breed that's similar in many ways to the Poodle is the Bichon Frise. Both are non shedding due to their wiry coats, and both have the same love for kids. The Bichon Frise was historically used as a companion dog for Spanish sailors aboard ships, and like the Poodle they were also used as a circus dog in harder times. They have a cheerful and affectionate nature that is easy to love, but like the Poodle need quite a bit of attention in terms of grooming.
3.      Havanese

The Havanese is another toy breed that doesn't shed and absolutely loves kids. Surprisingly, they are also quite sturdy so they can easily become playmates for children. It has a cheerful and intelligent nature. They have been loved by many historical figures, like Queen Victoria and Charles Dickens, and today they are recognized as the official dog of Cuba. Their history is similar to that of the Bichon Frise in that they were created by Spanish sailors and colonists for the purposes of companionship.
4.      Miniature Schnauzer

The Miniature Schnauzer is the most popular terrier breed in the world, but unlike their larger counterparts in the Standard and Giant Schnauzer they have a much more easygoing nature. They are typically friendly and love the company of kids. Thankfully, unlike many other non shedding breeds grooming them is a relatively straightforward job. All in all, they are a very low maintenance breed but do enjoy getting a lot of attention.
5.  Shih Tzu

The Shih Tzu is another breed that can be recognized for their hair, particularly when seen in long flowing styles around the dog show circuit. What may surprise you is it doesn't actually shed much. It has a very playful nature, which can make it a good option for kids though they should be careful not to handle it too roughly.
if you are tired of dog shedding, this article is very helpful for you and your family.
